About Skyline.
At first, it was all about the talent.
From the way Skyline moved on the court, to the confidence with every play —
I admired everything.
I didn’t expect to even have a chance to talk.
Honestly, I thought it was just a simple crush, the kind you get when someone’s holding a ball and completely in their element.
But when I got to know Skyline off the court… I started liking the personality too. And honestly, that hit even deeper.
Skyline is the type of person who makes others feel cared for.
The kind of presence that reminds you you’re important,
not in a romantic way,
but in a genuine, warm, and thoughtful kind of way.
There were people who tried to ruin how I saw Skyline.
Saying things, trying to twist the image I had.
But I chose to see things with my own eyes, to get to know the real person —
and I’m glad I did.
And when I did —
that’s when I realized just how wrong they were.
Skyline became a place of comfort for me.
With Skyline, I feel safe.
At peace.
Like my worries fade even just by sitting side by side.
Like for a while, I can forget all the things that stress me out.
Just for a while nothing else matters —
just that moment.
Just being beside Skyline makes things lighter.
I even dedicated a song: "Your Universe" by Rico Blanco. It’s all started to that one moment I won’t forget was during our night swim. She’s doing the back floating and she said, “Try mo humiga, nakakarelax” so I did. We floated in silence, just relaxing. Then she broke the silence and said, “Ikaw, magkwento ka nga.” I replied, “Ano namang ikukwento ko?” We laughed, and she ended up the one who’s yapping.
There’s this line that always reminds me of Skyline:
"I don't think that you even realize
The joy you make me feel when I'm inside your universe..."
That’s exactly how it feels —
like when it’s just the two of us talking, sitting together,
we’re in our own little universe.
And somehow, Skyline makes me feel like I’m someone special.
Like I matter.
I don’t know if she sensed how I felt, but it didn’t matter. I was just really grateful for her presence.
But truth is —
Skyline doesn’t even know how much of an impact was made.
I’ve always wanted to say thank you.
But I’m afraid it might make things awkward, so I’m saying it here, in the only way I can.
Thank you, Skyline.
For the calm, the warmth, the silent universe you create.
You’ll probably never know just how much that means.
Why “Skyline”?
Skyline isn’t just a code name for that person.
It’s a view — a moment where the earth meets the sky,
where everything looks calm, balanced, and breathtaking.
Just like how a skyline stands tall,
this person carries a presence that’s impossible to ignore.
On the court, Skyline rises above —
with every jump, every serve, every play.
Tall, graceful, and strong.
But what makes Skyline truly special
isn't just height or talent —
it's the calm that comes with it.
The quiet kindness,
the way Skyline makes people feel seen, safe, and valued.
Not loudly, but naturally.
Like how a skyline makes you stop, breathe, and just feel peace.
Skyline is that rare balance
of power and gentleness.
A view you never get tired of.
A feeling you want to return to.
